friendship bracelets

thought id share my bracelets with you all today. caitlin brought me the marigold and orange thread-wrapped bangles from her travels in india! and dorothy brought me the maasai beaded bracelets from her travels in tanzania! i'm also working on some necklaces and bracelets out of some vintage embroidery yarn that i found the other day...and for a bit more inspiration, the adornments in their natural habitats:

today is HOLI, the indian festival celebrating of spring and togetherness! EXPLOSIONS of colored pigments! too bad they're so toxic....god i wish i was there!
